Pick your canvas: the Business Model Canvas describes a business that already runs or one you are about to launch; the Lean Canvas is built to test a new idea, so it swaps partners, activities and resources for problem, solution and metrics.
Fill in the blocks in numbered order, which is the recommended one: customers and value proposition first, costs last. Each block has a guiding question and an example; write short ideas, one per note, as if they were sticky notes.
If you do not know where to start, load one of the examples and change it. When you are done, download the PNG to share it or the PDF to print it. If you download the empty canvas, you get a template to fill in by hand.
