Welcome to creacosas.com (the “Site”), an editorial blog and content archive on entrepreneurship, product, agility and leadership, operated by Leandro Valencia Buitrago. This Policy explains what data we process when you visit the Site, why, and what rights you have.

If you disagree with these terms, please do not use the Site.

What this site is (and is not)

creacosas.com offers:

  • Blog articles and guides
  • A video archive for the associated channel
  • Informational pages (about, contact, legal)
  • A contact form by email

We do not offer user accounts, forums, internal chat, a store, orders or shipping. Mentions of those features in older versions of this policy were incorrect and have been removed.

Information we collect

1. Data you send voluntarily

When you use the contact form or email us, we may receive:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Message content

We use this only to reply and follow up. We do not sell it or use it to build advertising profiles outside that conversation.

2. Technical and usage data (automatic)

When you visit the Site, servers and tools may automatically log:

  • IP address (or a truncated/anonymous form depending on the provider)
  • Browser, device and operating system
  • Pages visited, timestamps and referrer
  • Session or measurement identifiers (cookies or similar), subject to your consent

Retention

  • Contact messages: as long as needed to handle the request, plus a reasonable archive period (up to 24 months unless law requires longer)
  • Technical logs: per hosting provider policies (typically days or weeks)
  • Cookie preference: up to 12 months or until you clear it
  • Data held by Google: per Google’s retention policies

Security

We apply reasonable measures (HTTPS, access controls, updated dependencies). No system is 100% secure; contact us if you believe an incident affects you.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. Contact us to delete any such data.
