Tiers, amounts, deadlines and caps of Global66's Invita y Gana program explained with no smoke. How much you really earn, which transactions qualify, and when you don't get paid.

Table of Contents

The whole program in one table

What it unlocks What your referral has to do Deadline Your reward
Milestone 1 — Signup Register with your link and complete identity verification 30 days Coupon
Milestone 2 — First transaction Transact $100 USD or more 30 days Up to $20 USD
Milestone 3 — High transaction Transact $500 USD or more 30 days Up to $30 USD
Bronze level 3 referrals who met milestones 90 days Additional bonus
Silver level 5 referrals who met milestones 90 days Additional bonus
Gold level 10 referrals who met milestones 90 days $100 USD extra

The fine print that goes with the table: maximum 10 rewards per milestone (except the third one in Peru and Mexico, uncapped). Applies to promoters in Chile, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Ecuador. Rewards are usually credited within 48 hours, in dollars, to your Cuenta Global. Topping up the account doesn't count as a transaction.

Start by having the account. To refer, you first have to be a user. Sign up with my link and get the cashback benefit on purchases Global66 currently offers new users. → Open my Global66 Account Referral link, said upfront. You get the benefit, I get counted as a referral.

The three milestones for each person you invite

This is the heart of the program and where almost everyone gets it wrong. You don't earn "X per referral." You earn in stages, and each stage is unlocked by the referral, not by you.

Milestone 1 — Signup completed. When the person registers with your link and completes identity verification, a coupon is released. It's the easiest step and the lowest value.

Milestone 2 — First transaction of $100 USD or more. This is where real money comes in: up to $20 USD for the inviter.

Milestone 3 — Transaction of $500 USD or more. The high step: up to $30 USD.

Notice the "up to." Amounts vary by country and current conditions, so treat them as a ceiling, not a guarantee.

And notice something more important: milestones 2 and 3 depend on your referral moving real money. If you invite ten people who open the account out of curiosity and never transact, your earnings are ten coupons and zero dollars. This is why spam doesn't work in this program: it's designed to reward active users, not signups.

The tier system: the volume bonus

On top of the per-referral payment, there's a gamification layer that runs in 90-day windows and only counts referrals who actually met their milestones:

Level Active referrals Reward
Bronze 3 Additional bonus
Silver 5 Additional bonus
Gold 10 $100 USD extra

The $100 USD Gold-level reward is the program's big prize. But read it carefully: that's 10 referrals who met the conditions, within a 90-day window. Not 10 signups.

Which transactions qualify (and which don't count)

This is the point where most people get frustrated. Not every movement inside the app counts. According to the program's conditions, the following qualify:

  • International transfers / remittances
  • P2P transfers between Global66 users
  • Currency exchange (for example, converting pesos to dollars within the app)
  • Card purchases, depending on the country

What this means in practice: if your referral only tops up the account and leaves the money sitting there, it doesn't count. Topping up isn't transacting. They have to do something with the money: exchange it, send it, or spend it with the card.

That nuance is what you have to explain to the person you invite. It's literally the difference between $0 USD and $20 USD.

The caps: how far this goes

Here's the fine print almost no article mentions:

  • Maximum 10 rewards per milestone. In other words, the program isn't an infinite income stream. It has a ceiling.
  • Exception: in Peru and Mexico, the third milestone has no such limit.
  • In those two countries, moreover, third-level rewards are paid manually and spread over 3 months, not immediately.

Honest translation: this is a good complementary income if you have an audience or circle that actually uses the product. It's not a business model.

Deadlines: the 30 days that kill most referrals

The clock starts when your referral signs up. From there, they have 30 days to complete verification and reach the transaction amounts.

If they sign up today, forget about it, and make their first currency exchange on day 45: neither of you earns anything. There's no retroactivity.

That's why the only technique that truly moves the needle in this program isn't sharing the link more. It's supporting the people who already signed up during those first four weeks.

  1. Log into your account in the Global66 app.
  2. Go to Benefits.
  3. Select Invita y Gana.
  4. There's your personalized link and the dashboard with your referrals' status.

That dashboard is the most useful part and the one people look at least: it shows who signed up and which milestone each person is on. It's what tells you who to write to before their 30 days run out.

How I would do it (and what I wouldn't do)

What works:

  • Inviting people who already have a real need: freelancers who charge from abroad, people who pay subscriptions in dollars, anyone sending or receiving remittances, anyone who travels.
  • Explaining the transaction step from the beginning, not afterwards.
  • Writing to your signups in week 2, not on day 29.

What doesn't work:

  • Posting the bare link in WhatsApp groups. It generates signups, not milestones.
  • Promising amounts as if they were fixed. They're "up to," they vary by country and they change.
  • Pressuring someone to move $500 USD just so you get paid. That burns a relationship for $30 USD and is, frankly, a bad play.

Before participating, read the terms

Everything above reflects the conditions published by Global66 at the time of writing (September 2026). Referral programs change: amounts, countries, caps and validity periods get adjusted frequently.

Global66 publishes the program's full legal terms, and that document prevails over any summary — including this one. Review them inside the app, in the Invita y Gana section, before telling anyone how much they'll earn.

If you're going to open an account

If you made it this far and still don't have an account, here's my link:

👉 Open my Global66 Account

Signing up with it gives you access to the cashback benefit on purchases that Global66 currently offers new users — they've run promotions of up to 10%, with a minimum purchase of $20 USD — and I get counted as a referral. It's an affiliate link, said upfront.

And if you want to understand what the account is for beyond the signup bonus, I previously wrote about why I diversify my assets across multiple currencies. The bonus is spent once; the underlying reason lasts years.

By the way: if you buy software, games or gift cards for digital services, at Eneba you get a 5% discount with my link. It's also an affiliate link — cheaper for you, and it helps me keep the blog running.

Frequently asked questions

How much do you earn per referral on Global66?

Up to $20 USD when your referral transacts $100 USD or more for the first time, and up to an additional $30 USD if they reach $500 USD or more, within the first 30 days from their signup. There's also a $100 USD bonus for completing the Gold level (10 referrals who met their milestones within a 90-day window).

Which transactions count for the referral program?

International transfers, P2P transfers between Global66 users, currency exchange and, depending on the country, card purchases. Topping up the account and leaving the balance sitting there doesn't count as a transaction.

How long does my referral have to hit the milestones?

30 days from signing up with your link. If they sign up and make their first transaction after that window, neither of you earns the reward: there's no retroactivity.

Is there a maximum number of referrals I can get paid for?

Yes, the program pays a maximum of 10 rewards per milestone, with the exception of the third milestone in Peru and Mexico, which has no cap but is paid manually and spread over 3 months.
